Director of Risk Management

A Director of Risk Management is needed in Naples, FL with a well-established healthcare organization that continues to serve their patients with exceptional care.

Responsibilities

• Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
• Between Both Immokalee and Naples Location
• Regulatory Compliance & Accreditation: Ensure compliance with HRSA, AAAHC, FTCA, and other regulatory standards. Lead applications, audits, and reporting processes.
• Incident & Risk Management: Oversee investigation and resolution of adverse events, near misses, and patient safety incidents. Lead root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
• FTCA Program Oversight: Manage all aspects of the FTCA program, including risk assessments, claims, databank maintenance, and required reporting.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze incident data and patient complaints to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities. Prepare reports for leadership and regulatory agencies.
• Policy & Quality Improvement: Develop and update risk management policies in alignment with FQHC standards. Collaborate with quality and population health teams to integrate risk strategies into improvement initiatives.
• Leadership & Collaboration: Act as the subject matter expert in risk management. Guide staff and leadership on best practices and represent the organization during audits and reviews.
• Patient Advocacy: Partner with Patient Access to ensure a patient-centered, safe care environment in line with the organization’s mission.
• Education & Training: Provide onboarding and ongoing training on risk, safety, HIPAA, OSHA, and compliance practices for all staff.

Requirements

• Clear and Active License in the State of Florida
• Registered Nurse in the State of Florida
• Must Have FQHC Experience
• Must Have Experience with FTCA- Risk Management – Safety
• Must be Extremely Computer Literate
