We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Associate who possesses a positive attitude and demonstrates the ability to work collaboratively within a team. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills. Furthermore, the candidate should display a keen eagerness to learn, a high level of attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
The responsibilities associated with this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Reviewing and reconciling contracts, invoices, payments, and deliverables related to subcontractors and consultants.
- Engaging in regular communication with sub-recipients (agencies) and timely review of progress or programmatic reports, ensuring that sub-award funds are utilized for authorized purposes and that performance objectives are met.
- Guiding inquiries from external parties to the appropriate individuals and documentation within the Accounting Department according to a predetermined schedule and on an ad-hoc basis as required.
- Processing payment requests and reimbursements for consultants and subcontractors.
- Establishing and maintaining vendor profiles within the financial system.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a requisite.
- A foundational knowledge of accounting is advantageous.
- An exceptional level of attention to detail and accuracy is necessary.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
